Germany and France reopened the border, while the UK welcomed international visitors but demanded self-isolation 14 days, even for people from countries with low levels of infection.
Spain is allowing thousands of Germans to fly to the Balearic Islands on June 15, to try to restore the peak tourist season after the country removed travel warnings for European citizens.
However, many other countries, such as Greece, still refuse to allow UK visitors to enter, due to the high nCoV mortality. UK visitors are currently allowed to enter Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy; Dutch and Austrian people will be quarantined after entering France. France opens its borders to European countries, but Paris still applies a 14-day quarantine rule against British visitors.
Most European countries have yet to welcome guests from Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Americas, although Greece has allowed citizens from several countries outside the continent to enter.
