2. Visa for visting friends, relatives and family

- Fill-in visitor visa application form

- Invitation letter, stating the inviter's information, purpose and time of the trip 

- Marital documents( in case you and the inviter are relatives, you need to provide a notarize copy of that person's birth certificate)

- Proof of relationships

- Proof of Finance ( in case you trip is sponsored)

- Proof of residence or notarized copy of passport of the inviter.

Note: In case applicant is under 18 years old, here are some additional documents:

- Original of Travel Agreement signed by parents or authorized guarantor verified by local authority

- Notarized copies of parents' ID cards.

3. Business visas

- Fill-in business visa application form

- Marital documents

- Proof of profession and finance

- In case you have an official business or diplomatic passport:

+ Inviation letter from a company or organization in Hong Kong

+ Written note allowing you to use  official business or diplomatic passport for business visa.

-  In case you have an ordinary passport:

+ Inviation letter from a company or organization in Hong Kong

+ Decisions to send employee overseas stating the purpose of the trip, who is in charge of the trip expenses. If you're a company owner, you need to provide a declaration of travel schedule and purpose of the trip.

- Proof of profession: Labour contract ( if you're emplyed), certificate of business registration (if you're a company owner)

- Additional documents as requested.

Note when applying for Hong Kong visas

- If you apply for an emergency visa, you need to receive the result before 9:00 am

- A labour contract or business registration certificate is required for female born after 1975

- Applicants living in Hue towards Hanoi can apply at The Embassy of China in Hanoi. Those living from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh city can apply at the Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh city.

- A copy of birth certificate is required if there is a child accompanying. A student verification letter is required for female students.

- Those living in Hai Phong, Hai Duong and Quang Ninh need to provide clear proof of profession with copies of family regstration book, and make a deposit of 2000$ (which will be given back after the trip)

- If the processing time for visitor visa or business visa is 9-18 days, there's no need to keep the applicant's passport and an advanced payment is required
