Things to know about Brunei visa
- If you only visit Brunei for a short period of time you may not need a visa. A list of countries exempted from this visa is available on the Brunei government website and Vietnam is one of them.
- If you plan to stay in Brunei more than 14 days then you need to apply for a visa. To apply for a visa, your passport is still valid for more than 06 months. Confirmations from businesses or relevant agencies must be provided in case of applying for a business or student visa. Israeli citizens will not be allowed to enter Brunei.
- Anyone who is planning to work in Brunei will need to apply for a work permit. The licenses are valid for two years. If authorized to work, the immigration department will allow immigrant workers. The work permit also allows residence for the same period of time. After the license has been granted workers can register ID card in Brunei. This is a mandatory rule for anyone staying in this country for 3 months or more.
