A passport is an internationally recognized identity document that is essential for international travel and immigration procedures. In particular, for those planning to study abroad, a passport is a prerequisite for obtaining a student visa.
Even if students do not have plans for international travel, a passport can still serve as an additional form of identification. It is a widely accepted document for verifying a person's identity and citizenship. Having a passport can be beneficial when applying for certain programs, scholarships, or internships, or when accessing services that require government-issued identification.
In the event of problems or the need for assistance while abroad, students can seek help from their country's consulate or embassy. A passport is often the primary document required to establish identity and access consular services such as emergency assistance, replacement of lost documents, or legal support.
Today, passport applications can be completed online, helping applicants save both time and travel costs. If you do not yet have a passport or if your passport is about to expire, follow the guide below to learn how to apply for a passport online quickly and conveniently.
