Documents for U.S visa application
When you are called for an interview, you need to provide these documents:
- ID card or identity papers with photos.
- Confirmation of interview appointment.
- The original diplomatic note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
- Confirmation of DS-160 visa application with barcode with a new 5x5cm photo taken within 06 months, white background, eye centered.
- A receipt of payment of the bank's non-refundable visa issuance fee.
- Signed form I-20 or DS-2019 for applicants of student visas and visas for exchange visitors. If the applicant is under 18 years old, a parent or guarantor's signed form I-20 is required
- Form I-129 or Form I-797 for applicants of U.S work visas for a limited period of time and rotating employees (visas H and L).
- Passport with validity of at least 06 months from the expected departure date from USA. Children must also have their own passports.
- Proof of relations in Vietnam must be kept separate and submitted only when required.
- Submit all the above documents with their notarized copies, but bring the originals with you when necessary
