That is why more and more people are wanting travel to Taiwan, Visavietnamsupport would like to share with you some useful information about Taiwan visa 

Taiwan visas are divided into different categories depending on the entry purpose of each applicant.

Documents required for a visa

Depending on the purpose of entering Taiwan, you will be advised to prepare necessary visa documents. Here are three common types of Taiwan visas for Vietnamese.

- Original and 1 copy of passport ( must be valid for more than 6 months).

- 1 copy of the visa application form fully declared and signed, with two 4 × 6cm photographs with white background taken in the last 6 months.

- Proof of Profession: Labor contract, health insurance, social insurance (original and photocopy) with a leave request letter signed and sealed by the representative of the company where you are working for. If you are the owner of the company, simply provide the company's cartificate p of business registration .

- Proof of finance: Copy of saving book, certificate of land, property ownership ( you need to bring the original for comparison). The property should be worth at least VND 100,000,000.

- Travel schedule: Including how many days, where to go, where to visit, with whom ...? A detailed schedule will increase the chance of visa approval.

- Invitation letter written by Taiwanese son-in-law or daughter-in-law. (In the letter, clearly stating the purpose of coming to Taiwan, signed and sealed).

- Marriage registraton confirmed by Taipei Office (a copy).

- Taiwan household registration (valid for 3 months and copy of Taiwanese ID card of the inviter)

- Birth certificate of Vietnamese spouse (or documents proving the relationship before 2000)

- Ntarize copy of Vietnamese family registrtion book (all pages)

- Passport valid for over 6 months.

- 2 new 4x6 cm photos taken within 6 months, with clear faces.

Documents for Taiwan work visas

- Original and 1 copy of passport ( must be valid for more than 6 months).

- 1 copy of the visa application form fully declared and signed, with two 4 × 6cm photographs with white background taken in the last 6 months.

- The decision to send employee on a business trip with confirmation from the company in Vietnam.

- The original invitation letter of the Taiwanese company (with full information of the inviting company such as address, phone number, fax number, signed the sealed).

- Proof of cooperation relationship, signed contracts, emails of work exchange, ...

- Original and copies of medical and social insurance

-Other additional documents as advised.

Some notes when applying for Taiwan visas

- From August 1, 2018, for citizens of 6 countries in Southeast Asia including Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos if they have a valid visa or visas that will expire in 10 years from countries such as USA, Canada, Japan, UK, EU Shenggen, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Taiwan (including long-term resident card), they will be considered to be  exempt from Taiwan entry visa for the duration of 14 days.

- Taiwan visitor visa application form must provide accurate and complete information. If the information in the declaration does not match that on other documents, your visa application will be denied.

- If the applicant is going to Taiwan for the purpose of taking care of his/her daughter during her pregnancy, he/she must bring a maternity certificate with the expected date of the child's birth.

- Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam only accepts payment of visa fees in US dollars (USD). Therefore, you should exchange Vietnamese currency into USD for the convenience of filing and paying fees.

=> You should make a visa for visiting friends, family and relatives about 15 days in advance  in case you need to provide some additional documents. If it is an urgent case, you can pay an additional 50% of the fee to make an emergency visa (get the visa after 3 working days).

 
Where to apply for Taiwan visas
Under regulation,  Taiwan visa applicants residing from Da Nang towards the South will apply and receive a visa inHo Chi Minh city.
Similarly, those residing from Hue towards the North should apply and receive a visa in Hanoi.

- Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City: No 336 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Ward 4  District 10, HCMC
