China Visitor visa has a short duration of stay. According to the updated China visitor visa application, the duration of stay for visitors is 15 days for tourists visiting Northern part of China and 30 days for tourists visiting Southern part of China.
Where can you apply for China Visitor Visa?
Vietnamese citizens or foreign residing in Vietnam can apply their documents at these following agencies:
Prepare your documents and hand them in at Embassy of China:
- In the North: 46 Hoang Dieu, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.
- In the South: 175 Hai Ba Trung, District 3, Ho Chi Minh city.
Required documents for 1st time application:
A filled-in short-term China visa application form
Passport, in original (with a minimum validity of six months)
2 photograph of the specified size (3.3x4.8cm), attached on the form
A copy of ID card
Birth certificate/ Authorization letter (if a child is accompanied)
a copy of Family registration book
Vacation request letter (if applicant is employed)
Certificate of business registration (if applicant is self-employed or a company owner)
Pension book (If applicant is retired)
Hotel booking and roundtrip flight tickets
Other documents as requested
Embassy receive applicants' profiles and application fees on Mon- Fri from 2pm to 4pm (Vietnamese and chinese holidays are not included)
