Countries that can issue Vietnam E-visas

Azerbaijan, Argentina, Armenia, Ireland, Poland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Brunei, South Korea, Germany, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Cuba, Denmark, East Timor, USA, Hungary, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Myanmar, Mongolia, Japan, Panama, Peru, Finland, France, Philippines, Romania, Spain, Sweden, China (not applicable to ordinary e-passport holders), Uruguay, Venezuela, Norway and Slovakia.

List of border gates allowed foreigners to enter and exit by using electronic visas:

- Air border control: Noi Bai International Airport, Tan San Nhat, Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc and Phu Bai.

- Border gates: International border gates of Mong Cai / Quang Ninh, Huu Nghi / Lang Son, Lao Cai / Lao Cai, Nam Can / Nghe An, Cau Treo / Ha Tinh, Cha Lo / Quang Binh, Lao Bao / Quang Tri, Bo Y / Kon Tum, Moc Bai / Tay Ninh, Xa Mat / Tay Ninh, Tinh Bien / An Giang, Song Tien / An Giang, Ha Tien / Kien Giang.

- Seaport: Port of Hon Gai / Quang Ninh, Port of Hai Phong / Hai Phong, Port of Nha Trang / Khanh Hoa, Port of Da Nang / Da Nang, Port of Quy Nhon / Binh Dinh, Port of Vung Tau / Ba Ria Vung Ship, Port of Ho Chi Minh City / HCMC.

Conditions for issuing E-visas.

Conditions for issuing Vietnam E-visas for purposes of tourism, trading, investment, labor, marriage, etc.

1. Foreigners who are living abroad.

2. Foreigners who have  passport with at least 6-month validity before application date

3. Foreigners who are not under any cases of being prohibited from entering any country according to Article 21 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam.

4. Foreigners who are citizens of one of the countries listed in the list of e-visa issuance under the Government's Decree No. 07/2017 / ND-CP of January 25, 2017

E-visa application for foreigners

Vietnam E-visas issued for purposes of tourism, trading, investment, labor, marriage, etc has 30-day duration of stay if the foreigners meet the requirements for E-visas application, regulated by laws. Visit the Immigration Department's website (or https://www.immigration.gov.vn) and follow these steps:

• Step 1: Fill in the request for visa application. Uploas your photos ( eye centered, no glasses) then you'll receive an e-profile code.

• Step 2: Process payment for application fee

• Step 3: Use the code to check the result. if your profile is approved, print out your e-visa.

- Within 3 days after receiving your application, The Immigration Department (Ministry of Public Security) will review and respond to applicants at the E-visa information page.

- Foreigners applying for E-visas can use the code to check the results. If their visas is approved, they can use the code to print out E-visas.
