Some Macau travel tips
- According to many people who have been here, the best time for traveling here is from May- September when the weather is very nice, a bit sunny but not too harsh, sometimes, it will rain for a short time and not much.
Note: Though the temperature is pretty high during daytime, it gets quite cold at night. Remember to bring a light coat to keep you warm at night and some light clothes, sport shoes, sun screen, umbrella and caps...
Transportation to Macau
Flying is the most common way to reach Macau. There are two options you can choose:
+ You can book a flight from Vietnam to Hong Kong and take a train to Macau. It would take you 40 mins to arrive in Macau. The train station is right next to the airport so it would be no hard for you to find the way to Macau.
+ You can book a flight by international airline Viva Macau airlines to fly from Vetnam straight to Macau. ( the tickes are expensive, around 2000$). After landing, you can take a free bus to your hotel.
Transportation in Macau
There are a lot of means of transportation for you to choose from in Macau, depending on your budget. Here are the 4 most common:
Public buses and mini buses
- This is the best way to travel on budget. There are 40 bus routes, working from 6.45 am to 12am everyday. If you're traveling alone, you can grab a bus map in order to travel around more easily. Here are 4 most frequented buses:
+ Bus 3, 3A: Travel from port to city center
+ Bus 12: pass Lisboa Hotel and Lou Kim IOC and Kun garden
+ Bus 21, 21A, 25, 26: Travel to Taipa and Coloane
Trishaw (Cyclo)
