Here is the guidlines to Taiwan visa application:
1. Passport, in original (with a minimum validity of six months)
2. 2 photographs of the specified size (4x6)
3. Notarized copies of ID card and family registration book
4. Labour contract in origianl and copy of stamped labour contract
5. Social insurance book + health insurance card in original
6. A copy of vacation request letter
7. Most recent 3 months' payslips. If salary is paid through bank account, sealed bank statements are required.
8. Proof of Finance: at least 80,000,000vnd in saving account.( original and a sealed bank balance statement)

Neccessary documents to apply Taiwan visa for tourists

Passport in original: with a minimum validity of six months

Old passport in original (if it has Europe, Australia, USA, New Zealand, Korea and Japan visas)

2 photogragh of specified size(4x6cm) with white background (recently taken).

Family registration book (original).

Marriage Registration( If married) (original).

Birth Certification and Student verification Letter (if the son/daughter travels with parents) (original).

Filled Visa application form.

Proof of Finance: at least 100,000,000vnd in the bank account. (original).

Proof of Profession: If applicant is self emplyed or a company owner: A copy of Certificate of Bussiness Registration and Tax receipts for the latest 3 months (corporate income tax is required, VAT receipts are not accepted).

Labour contract and vacation request letter, confirmation for salary, social insurance and health insurance.

if the applicant does not have a social insurance book, he / she must submit a stamped certificate of social insurance (form 308) from the company where he / she is working.

Capital contribution contract; House and Land renting contract; Retirement card (if retired) (original) Proof of assets: Papers on house, land, car ... (. If any) (copy and original).

If applicant regularly travel to one of these countries: European countries, Australia, USA, Japan, New Zealand, Canada in the past 10 years, he/she can hand-in the visa photo that were used for these countries visas and social insurance and health insurance are not required.
